09:30 – 11:00 Hydrogen: building a strong European industry
The energy transition is forcing us to rethink our modes of transport, and heavy-duty mobility is at the heart of this transformation. The commercial vehicle industry is gradually adopting a promising solution: hydrogen. Numerous projects (manufacturers, infrastructure) already illustrate the integration of this energy into heavy-duty mobility. The aim of this symposium is to bring together the main players in the hydrogen field and to draw up guidelines for the Heavy Duty Mobility H2 vertical.
Speakers:
Jean-Michel AMARÉ, Vice-Président de FRANCE HYDROGÈNE/Vice-president FRANCE HYDROGENE ; Erwin PENFORNIS, vice-président de la branche mondiale Hydrogène Énergie AIR LIQUIDE/ Vice President of the Global Hydrogen Energy Business Line AIR LIQUIDE ; Charles CAMBOURNAC, Directeur général de HYUNDAI HYDROGEN MOBILITY GERMANY/Managing Director of HYUNDAI HYDROGEN MOBILITY GERMANY ; Christophe DUBRUQUE, Directeur du développement Mobilité LHYFE/Development Director Mobility LHYFE ; Guirec DUFOUR, Directeur général QAIR/ Director QAIR
11:00 – 12:30 FFC talk: European reforms in 2026: what impact will these have on commercial vehicle bodybuilding and road haulage operators?
2026 will mark a key milestone for commercial vehicle body building and all transport stakeholders. Several European reforms will redefine the rules applicable to manufacturers, developers and professionals in the sector. Understanding these developments today is essential in order to anticipate the technical, economic and environmental impacts.
During this talk, we will create a forum for discussion between experts, manufacturers, fitters and regulatory authorities, focusing on new regulations in legal metrology, for example. We will also address technical and safety issues for bodybuilders and manufacturers of variable gross combination weight vehicles, depending on the type of trailers and equipment fitted. Not to mention the ELV (End-of-Life Vehicles) regulation and the new environmental responsibilities in end-of-life vehicle management. Finally, we will discuss upcoming standards and best practices for anticipating inspections and avoiding non-compliance for fitters.
14:00 – 15:00 Energy Transition talk : New energies, new uses: the new propositions
The truck industry is evolving rapidly thanks to the development of renewable energies and green technologies. Several alternatives to traditional diesel propulsion are now available: electric, gas, hydrogen and biofuels. Business models are also evolving. Manufacturers are now marketing zero-emission vehicles on a pay-as-you-go basis. At this talk, new energy sources will be addressed from 3 angles: technological, usage and financial.

Road transport viewed by the French: perceptions, expectations and sector challenges
To mark the 180th anniversary of the French Bodywork Federation (FFC), Solutrans and OpinionWay present an exclusive study on how the French view road freight transport. Conducted in September 2025, this survey explores the image and perception of trucks and light commercial vehicles in everyday life, as well as public expectations regarding ecological transition and safety.
This talk will reveal detailed results and feature reactions from professional organisations and industry players.

10:00 – 11:00 Understanding the rise of zero-emission trucks in Northern Europe
Zero emission trucks are selling well in Northern Europe for several reasons. Firstly, northern European governments (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands) impose very strict regulations on CO₂ emissions and diesel vehicles. Low-emission zones (LEZs) and progressive diesel bans encourage hauliers to switch to electric or hydrogen. In addition, generous subsidies and tax exemptions reduce the initial cost of zero-emission trucks, making the investment more attractive to companies.
Speakers:
Alexandre HELIBERT, Public Affairs Manager MILENCE ; DAIMLER ; SCANIA
11:00 – 12:00 Experimental talk: Artificial intelligence, already present in transport (with Lab’IA Transport)
Artificial Intelligence is transforming road transport, improving efficiency, safety and sustainability. One of the major roles of AI is to optimise logistics flows using sophisticated algorithms. However, these technologies are not yet widely deployed due to technical, regulatory and ethical challenges.

DASHDOC; ADDSECURE; DJTAL SYSTEM
14:00 – 15:00 Sustainable Development talk: Retrofitting, regeneration, recycling: how to improve the value of a vehicle
Faced with environmental and economic challenges, the transition to more sustainable mobility requires more than the acquisition of new vehicles. Retrofitting, regeneration and recycling offer innovative and credible alternatives to extend truck lifespans, reduce costs and adopt a circular economy approach. By combining these approaches, carriers can prolong the profitability of their fleets, minimise their environmental impact and meet new market demands.
